Terms of use
Sol Passeio · last updated 11 October 2026
Sol Passeio (formerly The Counting Method) is a small, free tracker made by one person. These terms keep things simple and fair. By using it, you agree to them.
Using it
You're welcome to use Sol Passeio for your own personal tracking. In return, please:
- Don't use it for anything illegal or harmful.
- Don't try to break, overload, or abuse the service, or access other people's accounts or data.
- Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
If an account is used to abuse the service, we may suspend or remove it.
It's free, and it's provided “as is”
Sol Passeio is offered free of charge, as a personal project, “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it'll suit any particular purpose.
Your data & backups
Your entries are yours. We take reasonable care of them and keep backups, but please keep your own copy of anything important (Manage → Data in the app downloads spreadsheet files). We can't guarantee against loss, and we're not responsible for data that's lost, corrupted, or unavailable.
Changes & availability
Because this is a personal project, features may change, and the service could be paused or discontinued at any time, without notice. If it's ever shut down for good, we'll try to give you a chance to export your data first.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sol Passeio and its maker won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. It's a personal tracker, so please don't rely on it for anything critical.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current version.
